Further Details on Bray Wyatt’s Death Released

While we all saw that Bray had inexplicably disappeared from TV around the time of WrestleMania 39, it was explained in reports from a few days ago that he contracted COVID which led to heart-related issues. The TMZ report sheds light on further details of Wyatt’s passing, including that he passed in his sleep after telling his fiance JoJo that he was going to take a nap.
When Bray didn’t wake up, his fiance JoJo Offerman checked on him and found him not breathing; her mother tried to perform CPR, but it was sadly too late as he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Bray was not wearing a doctor-recommended device to monitor his heart as he was still having issues and even had a doctor’s appointment the following day.
While this devastating news keeps the wrestling world in a state of shock, the tributes continue to pour in and will likely continue to do so for a long time. We hope the massive outpouring of respect for Windham Rotunda gives some comfort to Jojo, Bray’s four kids, his father Mike Rotunda, uncle Barry Windham, and the rest of his family.
