Update: Bray Wyatt’s Cause of Death Revealed

The pro wrestling world remains in a state of shock following the news of Bray Wyatt’s death. While the outpouring of love and respect for Windham Rotundo continues, the pure shock of it all has begged the question of what happened.

While the respect of the Rotundo family is being kept in mind, Sean Ross Sapp received permission to reveal the cause of Bray’s passing:

I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues.

There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery. Unfortunately today he suffered a heart attack and passed away.

None of us knew what kind of issue Bray Wyatt was dealing with that kept him off WrestleMania and in the months following, but now that we know it makes the story even more sad. We continue to mourn the passing of a legend before his time along with the rest of the pro wrestling community.
