With all the sad news surrounding the wrestling world in the past week, it’s great to report on a true feel good moment that took place at RAW in Memphis.
During the commercial break following the Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens vs. The Judgement Day, Zayn and Owens brought out WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler who was making his first live appearance since having a stroke in February.
“The King” appearing in front of his hometown crowd was a great moment since Lawler is arguably the most celebrated pro wrestling in Memphis wrestling history. The King looked to be in great spirits and it was awesome that WWE released video of his return:
