R.I.P. Joanie "Chyna" Laurer

Rest in Peace Chyna

It's been quite a year of loss for the wrestling world as some of the most iconic figures in wrestling are no longer with us. Many times the loss comes out of nowhere and there is a sense of utter shock when it happens; while not as shocking as some due to her condition over the years, today the wrestling world is mourning the loss of Joanie "Chyna" Laurer who has passed away at the age of 46.  Although Chyna has been in a bad place for the majority of the past few years, it's been great to see the recognition she is receiving today for her groundbreaking achievements in pro wrestling.

Some fans from this era may have only heard negative things about Chyna from the later part of her life, but it cannot be denied that she played a major role and was an iconic figure in the Attitude Era.  I will always remember her debut - it was during a time when RAW was becoming a show you had to watch every week because anything could happen.  When this giant of a woman jumped the rail to assist Hunter Hearst Helmsley (Yes Triple H) her impact was felt immediately and a WWE Superstar was born.

WrestleMania 32 Results - a Predictable and Unpredictable Mix

WrestleMania 32 was definitely not the most hyped WrestleMania ever when it comes to the card; with matches still being announced just last week and many of the matches overall not having a WrestleMania-worthy feel to them, it was a night where no one really knew what to expect.  As usual, rumors swirled about surprise appearance that could change the WWE landscape, and while there were surprises, they were not what we expected and they likely won't change the WWE landscape in the long run.

Here's a quick rundown of the results and a few thoughts:

Pre-Show:

Kalisto defeated Ryback *United States Championship*

This match kicked off the festivities with probably half the crowd inside the stadium due to a ticket issue early on.  The size difference here is just hard to believe for any old school fan, especially since they had a lengthy match.  Finish was good enough with Kalisto pulling off the victory after Ryback hit an exposed turnbuckle.

Team Total Divas defeated Team B.A.D. & Blonde

The yearly match to get all the Divas involved in, but at least they're given more time this year.  As expected, the crowd hates Eva Marie no matter what team she's on.  Brie Bella picks up the win in what could be her final WWE match based on various reports.
